The reishi mushroom has been proven to seriously boost the immune system and help fight cancer cells. Reishi will work to boost your immune system and target cancer cells.

While, in many circles, it has not been approved as a first-line approach to cancer therapy, reishi is often recommended as a complementary therapy alongside traditional first-line methods.

In addition, there is some evidence to suggest that reishi has cancer preventative properties, helping strengthen the case for taking this mushroom daily.

It Detoxifies Your Liver

It is, however, important for people with pre-existing blood sugar conditions to closely monitor their blood sugar levels when eating reishi to make sure their levels do not drop too low.

It’s a Mood Lifter

The reishi mushroom may not fully cure your depression or anxiety…however, it is suggested that these medicinal mushrooms boost your immune system and adrenaline, which can help make you happier.

While there hasn’t been substantial research into the use of reishi to treat depression or anxiety, there is has been more research conducted which suggests that reishi mushrooms can help alleviate symptoms of people with neurasthenia its symptoms being lethargy, fatigue, headache and irritability.

It Protects Your Brain

The reishi mushroom is neuroprotective…meaning it can protect your brain. They promote and stimulate the growth of brain cells and generally improve cognitive function.
